Pina-colada-bars-recipe

Is anyone else need a tropical vacation right now? I could definitely go for one right now, but since I can't these tropical treats will have to do. They have all the flavors of a pina colada and are portable. They are perfect for summer picnics and get-togethers!

Recipe:

Preheat oven to 350, and line a 9x13 inch pan with nonstick foil. Mix the flour,

sugar, and butter together with a pastry blender or fork.

Press evenly into the pan and bake for 8 minutes or until lightly baked. Set Aside.

Lightly mix the sweetened condensed and crushed pineapple together. Then mix

in the rum extract and salt.

Pour over the partially baked crust.

Top evenly with flaked coconut and white chocolate chips. Bake the bars for another

22-24 minutes or until bars are set and are starting to turn golden.

Set aside to cool before glazing.

Prepare glaze by stirring the confectioner’s sugar and the reserved

pineapple juice together. Drizzle with glaze & cut into bars.
